Careforce Alzheimer Cafe
The Alzheimer Cafe is a monthly event held by Careforce in Kentville and Greenwood. The aim of the cafe is to provide a relaxed social environment for those with memory loss and their families and caregivers. They are an afternoon of music, refreshments, and conversation, as well as information on Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia.
There is no cost to come and anyone is welcome to attend. If you or a loved one has memory issues, we offer support and encouragement. If you are looking for information on caring for someone with dementia or want to know more about how memory loss occurs, we have information for you.
The cafe is held in Kentville on the second Tuesday of every month from 2:00-4:00 p.m. It takes place at Kings Riverside Court, 125 Webster St., across from the arena.
The cafe is held in Greenwood on the third Tuesday of every month from 2:00-4:00 p.m. It takes place at the New Beginnings Centre, 1151 Bridge. St., beside Dairy Queen.
