About Our Coop - Home Care

In 2006 Careforce staff opted to become a
worker Co-operative. Effective November 18,
2008 the worker cooperative owns 100% of
Careforce Health Services.
The majority of our staff are now owners
and have an active interest in carrying out
tasks in an effective and professional manner.

Our worker’s co-op shall stand out in the
community as a valuable example of excellence
in both home health care and a place to work.

We will work together to build a growing,
thriving, business in which we can be proud by
consistently delivering quality care to our
clients.

CO-OP STRENGTHS

We have an established name and a good
reputation, quick response, individual care,
quality staff, access to a RN 24/7, good
working relationship with DVA, Workers
Compensation, and individual & private
insurance.

Membership allows you voice and vote in the
management of Careforce. Profit sharing and
dividends are paid out based on your hours
worked. Owners have first opportunity at
available hours.
