Annapolis Valley survey nets Legion $250 prize.

Careforce is pleased to announce that it has awarded $250 to the Windsor Royal Canadian Legion (Branch #09). The $250 donation was the result of an Annapolis Valley-wide survey, which was distributed to all Valley legion members in August 2013. The survey, which was sent to more than 2,800 individual homes, asked legion members to share their thoughts about home care, and about recent changes to the Veterans' Independence Program, which is administered by Veterans Affairs Canada.
More than 300 survey recipients responded, and on September 30th, Careforce randomly drew the name of Richard Bishop. Mr. Bishop is a member of the Windsor Royal Canadian Legion, and will proudly present the cheque to them in the coming weeks.
Careforce would like to thank all individuals who participated in this survey.
